AIM: Call to action with a plan
TEXT: John 1:40-42a

Recap
Recap yesterday's prophetic call "Launch out into he deep and let out your nets for a catch"

The text [read John 1:40-42a]
Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus. The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, "We have found the Messiah" (that is, the Christ). And he brought him to Jesus.

Here is the strategy. Put your thinking caps on because this is really hard.
Andrew brought Peter
Ranger bring Ranger.

Easy huh.

My challenge to each one of you boys and girls is this: This year each one of you is to bring a friend (preferably a non-Christian friend) to Rangers. To complete the challenge your friend must stay, pass recruit and become a Royal Ranger. This is the catch.

You bring your friends. Your leaders will provide opportunity for them to be saved.

Leaders your challenge: To recruit another leader this year to your ranger program. To complete the challenge the leader you recruit must be uniformed and complete LTC. This is being ready with extra capacity.

It's so easy, it's possible.

Will you join with me and take up this challenge?

If you will, join me in this pledge:

With God's help
I will bring someone new
to my Ranger outpost this year.
With God's grace
they will be saved
and become a Royal Ranger

Keep trying till you succeed. You mightn't succeed with this first person you invite - so keep trying.

Let's pray.
