I delivered these four devotions at my outpost, the first four weeks we come back this year.

I believe that the strategy of "Ranger bring Ranger" and "Leader bring Leader" is so simple, so easily grasped by young and old that it is achievable.

Leaders, would you like your outpost to double in size this year? Would you like to see a great harvest of souls for the kingdom this year? Would you like to double the size of your leadership team with uniformed, trained leaders?

Sounds crazy doesn't it. I bet Jesus instruction to Peter seemed crazy too.

Often times we challenge our kids and ourselves to things without laying out a strategy or path for them to follow. Through this series both are given. Challenge and strategy.

You'll note that the outlines I have provided are sketchy and need embellishment from you to make them "fit" your local scene - for instance you're not at Camporama, you're at a weekly meeting. That's OK - each of your rangers is there for a purpose too.

Kids sometimes feel daunted at "witnessing" to their friends. Take the pressure off them by doing it for them. They bring the kids - you present the gospel.

I think that we will be shaping this program with some kind of incentive. through charts or prizes or recognition or something. I want our kids to know this is important and their role in it is important.

How would you implement this in your outpost?
