TITLE:You have a destiny
AIM:Even a child can know their destiny
TEXT:Genesis 15:1-6
OBJECT:Torch

Show torch.

Do you know what this is? [allow for responses]
What's it used for? [again solicit responses]

That's right, a torch is used to see in dark places - like at night or into a dark cupboard.

In our reading, God showed Abram a glimpse of his destiny - in a vision. Just as we use a torch to see in the dark, God used a vision to show Abram his future.

Abram was an old man when God showed him this. But he's shown plenty of kids their destiny too - like Samuel and Joseph.

I believe God can show you his plan for your life, right now, when you're still a kid.

The first part I know - it's that you become a Christian, a member of God's family.
The next part I also know - that you fulfil Christ's command to "Go into all the world and preach the gospel"
The other bits - God knows, and he'll let you know.

You need to:
1) Get saved
2) Pray for your unsaved friends or family members
3) Seek God and he will tell you.

Let's pray

[call for salvations]
